2 held in Maywood shooting death of teen

Two teens have been charged in last weekend’s shooting death in Maywood of a recent high school graduate from Forest Park.

Johnathan Ollech, 18, of the 800 block of Ferdinand Avenue, was found in a sport-utility vehicle about 3 a.m. Sunday in what appeared to be a crash near 21st Avenue and Bataan Drive in Maywood, said Police Chief Tim Curry. A .22-caliber bullet was found in Ollech’s heart after he was taken to Loyola Medical Center, Curry said.

Quavortis Harris, 18, of Maywood and Joseph McKinnis, 17, of Chicago were charged with murder and armed robbery.
