Chicago man found dead on Burnham tracks

Detectives are conducting a criminal investigation for a Chicago man who was found dead on the train tracks near 143rd Street and Torrance Avenue in Burnham this morning, officials said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:31 a.m. according to the
Cook County medical examiner’s office. While the cause of death is
pending an autopsy, the medical examiner’s office said the man was possibly hit by a train.
Officials are not releasing the man’s identity, as his family has not yet been notified, said Burnham Police Chief Peter Belos.
